Dr. Storrs, is well known in the dermatologic community. He has been in Palos Heights for over 12 years and feels truly blessed to be part of such a wonderful community. Dermatology Associates of Illinois, is a new corporate name for his practice. Dr. Storrs practices general dermatology, dermatologic surgery and is a Mohs surgeon. |
Active in the Dermatological Community
Dr. Storrs has been a member of the American Society for Mohs Surgery for more than 12 years.
He serves on the Board of Directors of the ASMS. Dr. Storrs also serves as faculty at several of the ASMS educational seminars. Dr. Storrs has been very active in Public Awareness Issues. He currently serves as the chairman of the Skin Cancer Awareness Committee of the Chicago Dermatological Society. For several years they have coordinated and organized "The Skin Cancer Screening on the Beach" events to promote public awareness and knowledge of Skin Cancer and the importance of sun screen. Furthermore, Dr. Storrs volunteers his time to Community Health by providing dermatologic services. Dr. Storrs has served on the Board and is currently President Elect of the Illinois Dermatological Society. Education Dr. Storrs performed his undergraduate, medical school, dermatology research, and dermatology residency at the University of Illinois. Dr. Storrs specializes in the treatment of skin cancer and performing Mohs micrographic surgery.
